PRIVATE BIKE TOUR IN HELSINKI
A private city tour by bike is the best way to get to know Helsinki. We cycle to the most famous sights in Helsinki, roll along parts of the beautiful coast and meander through Art Nouveau residential areas and small parks. On the way, you will hear about the historical background of the city at different stops and get an overview of Finland in the past and present. Where available and possible, we use cycle paths and quiet side streets.
Indoor visits of the sights are possible, opening hours permitting.
Available versions of the bike tour:
• Short bike tour: 3 hours in the city center. You will see Kaivopuisto and Meriranta, Art Nouveau areas, Rock Church (entrance fee: 8€, not included), Kansalaistori (Library Oodi, Parliament, Finlandia Hall & Musiikkitalo), Railway Station, Senate Square, Market Square Kauppatori and Katajanokka.
• Mid-range bike tour: 4 hours. In addition to the 3-hour cycle tour, you will see the Sibelius Monument, the Olympic Stadium and Töölö Bay.

• Long bike tour: 5 hours city scape. This big bike tour contains all the sights of the above-mentioned tours. In addition, we sniff a lot of sea air, visit the hipster district Kallio with its Art Nouveau church, see the icebreakers and there is time for a refreshment break in a cozy café or lunch restaurant (food and drinks not included in the price).
• 5-hour Tour "Wooden house districts, Islands and Futuristic Helsinki
This five-hour bike tour covers the full stretch of architecture of Helsinki: charming wooden-house neighbourhoods, allotment gardens and parks, the original founding site of Helsinki at the estuary of the Vanta River and residential design district of Arabia. Culinary hotspot Teurastamo with its creative food scene, gin distillery, Italian ice cream parlor, and fish specialties is an ideal stop for a culinary break. We return to the bike rental passing futuristic Kalasatama, the North-Harbor coastline with it's wooden sailing vessels, and we see the Icebreakers.
Alternative route: we cycle along the seashore all the way to Vuosaari and return by Metro.
